| Description | Hi Wooshin, We check the DVT board about the AUX-IN implementation. Because DVT board must supports AUX-IN stereo audio. DVT now is following standard design for plug-in detection (behavior is like PC). So, now the AI2MAX will detect AUX-IN is plugged when only cable line is plugged into AI2MAX. So, there is a situation that user only plugs the AUX cable line into AI2MAX but does not connect the cable line to AUX-IN Source device(ex. mobile phone). In this case, we will detect the AUX-IN is plugged and will switch Audio Routing to AUX-IN. But AUX-IN source device is not connected. If user operates UI to play BTV or Youtube, audio of BTV and Youtube will be mute. User may forget he had already plug the AUX-IN cable before and will think why there is no audio for BTV and youtube. Please help to confirm with SKB, if this user scenario is ok or not? | ||||

Hi Wooshin, The current MIC/AUX-IN detection design is using HW detection method. When the user inserts the TRS plug, the TRS plug is used to short-circuit the detection signal to ground. So, there was no way to know the status of AUX-IN source based on the current H/W design. Please understand that and communicate with SKB about the audio rounting scheme to see if it's ok or not.
